Ingredients
Method
- First, melt chocolate and coconut oil over a steam bath.
- Add all of the dry ingredients to a large bowl - flour, cocoa powder, salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder (and proteins if you're using them).
- If you're using chocolate in a bar, then chop dark and white chocolate into chips.
- Once chocolate and coconut oil are melted, whisk them well so they create a homogenous liquid. Add that to the dry ingredients along with oat milk. Start mixing with a spatula.
- Halfway through, when not all ingredients are evenly distributed yet, add chocolate chips to the bowl. Mix well until you have no dry chunks left and everything is evenly distributed. The dough will remind you of cookie dough.
- Using an ice cream scoop, scoop balls of chocolate dough onto a baking sheet. I usually get from 10 to 12 balls from this amount of batter.
- Bake your brownie scones at 180°C for 20 minutes.
- After they're baked and cooled down, you can decorate them with whipped cream, melted chocolate, chocolate chips, sugar decorations, etc. They go super well with a cup of hot coffee or tea.
Notes
If you want to add protein powder to this recipe, add 50 g chocolate protein powder and only 200 g flour. Everything else stays the same.
