I’ve always loved granola. But I have always hated the fact that it’s quite expensive and full of sugar. Homemade easy vegan banana granola solved my problem.
The one store-bought granola I trust
One thing I still cannot understand is how much sugar is in store-bought granolas. That’s why there’s only one granola I really trust – Drobtinka granola.
My Raw Granola is made from tiger nuts and is sugar-free. While still really tasty and just sweet enough, it’s an amazing healthy granola option.
The brand doesn’t only have granolas though. At the moment they have over 40 products that vary from granolas to healthy snacks and pure ingredients like the best agave syrup in the world, freeze-dried fruits, organic coconut oil, and mousse, etc.
I love Drobtinka and I am very happy I have a chance to work with them. That’s how my easy vegan banana granola came to life as well. I used their ingredients to create this tasty breakfast recipe. You can get all of the ingredients, except for banana, in their online store.
I think for me it was just a matter of time until I created my own granola recipe. Simply because I love creating everything by myself. I’ve always loved oats for breakfast. But crunchy oats? Oh heck yes! Working with Drobtinka gave me an additional push to get myself to work.
Why easy vegan banana granola and not something else?
At first, I was contemplating creating chocolate granola; or a nutty one, or maybe a fruity one? I decided upon banana granola for two reasons: bananas are my little obsession; I love the fact you don’t need as much sweetener and you don’t need as much oil when using a banana.
After trying this recipe for the first time, this easy vegan banana granola turned out to be one of the best breakfast recipes I have ever created. Although I am still crazy about avocado toast and oatmeal, this easy vegan banana granola steals my heart every time again and again.

- fork
- spoon
Ingredients
- 200 g soft oats
- 50 g shredded coconut
- 30 g coconut chips
- 30 g chia seeds
- 30 g quinoa
- 70 g coconut mousse
- 50 g agave syrup
- 1 banana
Instructions
- Put all dry ingredients into a bowl. Mix them well using a whisk or your hand.⠀⠀⠀
- Mash banana with a fork. Put coconut mousse and agave syrup into a small pot and melt on low heat. Once melted, put mashed banana into the same pot and stir it into that sweet coconuty mixture.⠀
- Pour wet ingredients over dry ingredients and mix well using your hand.⠀
- Put onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper. If you want to get chunks, then press granola into the surface.
- Bake on 180°C for 20 minutes. Stir every 5-7 minutes, if you want chunks give it a light stir only once. Be careful at the end, the baking time depends on the oven as well so watch your granola after 17 minutes. You're going for golden colour.
- You can serve it with plant milk or plant-based yogurt. It combines with coconut yogurt best. Cut some fruit and add it to the bowl or some nuts and seeds. Wholesome breakfast guaranteed!
